Assistant Manager
This is the first step on the management career ladder and an ideal place to hone your management skills. You’ll be responsible for being the first and last impression that our guests have of us when they visit and you will achieve this through leading and developing the team. We will give you the support and training you require with our Management Development Programme to build your confidence and to help you take on the Deputy Manager responsibilities.
Deputy Manager
Our Deputies take a high profile role in the business, driving not only standards, but focusing on driving sales and maximising profits. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that you are leading and inspiring the whole team to create the most talked about pub and eating house in your area. If you are passionate about product knowledge and service excellence and can deliver results through your people, you won’t be waiting too long to take on your own business.
General Manager
Our General Managers act as “owner/operators” that drive their businesses from the floor, delivering the offer with flair and presence. The role is a host to the guests and a coach to the team. If you are a guest-focused, intuitive business manager and have a passion for food and drink, who knows how far your career can go?
Sous Chef
Our Sous’ support our Head Chefs in running a kitchen that are able to provide that “wow” factor for our guests in terms of the finely prepared fresh food that we offer. The role requires people with a passion for a quality product and a service standard that helps set us apart from our competitors. The continued growth of our business has resulted in a number of our Sous becoming Head Chefs, this could be you.
Head Chef
With a passion for standards, fresh ingredients and driving a brigade, our Head Chefs have the freedom to show their own flair to deliver our award winning menu. The role is responsible for not only motivating and training your current team to adhere to your standards, but to help us to create head chefs for the future. The busy pubs allow you to test your leadership and the flexible menu allows you to practice your skills.
